Fish Hoek – Sauvignon Blanc | 2023

R 79.00 per bottle (6 per case)

Fish Hoek is a little settlement just outside of Cape Town on the False Bay coast. It is blessed with a breath taking beach, where the waves break for the first time in their previously unhindered journey from the Antarctic. Backed by Table Mountain, the locals enjoy the outdoors as a way of life – it is this spirit that we hope to capture in this wine.

The grapes are from the vineyards of the Breedekloof region, which produces a more tropical and fruity style of Sauvignon Blanc.

The grapes were picked at different sugar levels (20-23.5 B) to get a whole spectrum of flavours. The juice was handled as reductively as possible. Different yeast cultures were used and fermentation took place at 12-13 C in stainless steel tanks.
